For trucks from 7.5 t GVW, a driving ban applies on the sections of DN1 (E60) from km 17.9 (Otopeni boundary) to Ploiesti (junction DN 1 with DN 1A) and from Ploiesti (junction DN 1-DN 1B) to Kronstadt (junction DN 1-DN 1A) on Saturdays and Sundays and on public holidays, throughout the day between 06:00 and 22:00.

The following alternative routes are recommended:

DN 1A: Bucharest-Ploiesti-Kronstadt (Brasov)

A 3: Bucharest-Ploiesti;

DN 1A: Ploiesti-Brasov (Kronstadt)

DN 7: Bucharest – junction (DN 7 - DN 71);

DN 71: Junction (DN 7 - DN 71) –Targoviste

DN 72A: Targoviste-Stoenesti-junction (DN 72A - DN 73);

DN 73: Junction (DN 72A - DN 73) Rasnov-Brasov (Kronstadt).

For trucks over 7.5 t GVW, a driving ban applies on various public holidays from 06:00 to 22:00 and on the preceding days from 16:00 to 22:00 on the following road sections:

A 2 Bucharest to Constanta, 18 April (Good Friday*), 20 April (Easter Sunday*), 21 April (Easter Monday *), 1 May (Labour Day), 1 June, 8/9 June (Pentecost Sunday/Pentecost Monday*), 15 August (Assumption of Mary).

DN 7 from Pitesti (city exit) via Ramnicu Valcea to Vestem (junction DN 7-D N1) in both directions, 1 and 2 January, 24 January (Day of Reunification), 18 April (Good Friday*), 20 April (Easter Sunday*), 1 May, 1 June, 8/9 June (Pentecost Sunday/Pentecost Monday*), 15 August (Assumption of Mary), 1 December (National Day), 25 and 26 December.

• DN 39 from Agigea (junction DN 39-DN 39A) to Mangalia Constanta, 18 April (Good Friday*), 20 April (Easter Sunday*), 21 April (Easter Monday *), 1 May (Labour Day), 1 June, 8/9 June (Pentecost Sunday/Pentecost Monday*), 15 August (Assumption of Mary).

In addition, for trucks over 7.5 t GVW, a weekend driving ban applies from the beginning of July to the end of August on the following road sections:

A 2 Bucharest to Constanta on Fridays and Saturdays from 06:00 to 22:00. In the direction from Constanta to Bucharest the driving ban applies on Sundays from 06:00 to 22:00. On Fridays and Saturdays there are no restrictions for this direction, however.

DN 39 from Agigea (junction DN 39-DN 39A) to Mangalia Constanta in both directions on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 06:00 to 22:00.

DN 22 C from Murfatlar to Cernavoda on Sundays from 06:00 to 22:00.

In addition, a night driving ban applies to hazardous goods transports between 22:00 and 05:00
