There are no general driving bans. However, for trucks over 3.5 t GVW, a driving ban applies on the holidays New Year’s Day (1 January), Epiphany (6 January), Rose Monday* (23 February), National holiday (25 March), Good Friday* (10 April), Easter Monday* (13 April) Labour Day (1 May), , Whit Monday* (1 June), Assumption of Mary (15 August), Ochi Day (28 October), Second day of Christmas (26 December) from 15:00 to 21:00, as well as on certain Fridays and Saturdays mostly between 16:00 and 21:00 on the following sections:

• Motorway Patras – Corinth – Athens in the direction of Athens. between Rio and Elefsian,

• Motorway Thessaloniki – Athens in the direction of Athens, from Leptokarya to Larissa, between Raches/ Fthiotida and Lamia, from Bralos to Agios Stefanos (Kryoneri) and Leptokarya and Evangelismos (road to Tempi),

• Motorway Nea Moudania (Chalkidiki) – Thessaloniki towards Thessaloniki from km 34 to the Thermi junction bridge,

• Motorway Chalkida – Schimatariou in the direction of Athens, from the Chalkidiki bridge to the junction with the Athens – Thessaloniki motorway,

• Motorway Kavala – Thessaloniki from the Strymona bridge to the Redina junction,

• Motorway Ioannina – Patras, from Perdika to Selades, A. K. Amfiloxias to the Ioannina – Antirio national road,

• Motorway Kalamata to Corinth,

• Motorway Sparta to Leftkro.
