Nufam 2025: GYS brings high-performance welding solutions to Karlsruhe

The French manufacturer GYS is expanding its range of induction heaters. According to the company, the Powerduction 220LG model delivers an output of 22,000 watts, complementing the existing units rated between 3.7 and 16 kilowatts. It is designed for steel and metal fabrication as well as workshops for commercial vehicles and agricultural machinery.

The unit operates on a three-phase 400-volt supply. Power can be set in ten steps or automatically regulated in auto mode. A liquid cooling system ensures consistent heating performance and long operating periods. GYS supplies the unit with cable support, foot switch and standard inductor, with a choice of six or ten meters of inductor cable.

New spot welding system for bodywork

With the Gyypoty PTI-G, GYS is also presenting a spot welding system for high-strength steels, aluminum, and mixed-material joints. According to the manufacturer, welding speed is doubled, and a motorized extension arm with 120 centimeters of offset makes it easier to access all areas of the vehicle.

The water-cooled clamp weighs 11.3 kilograms, opens up to 80 millimeters, and can be rotated 360 degrees via a gyroscope. A generator supplies currents up to 14,500 amperes. The system processes up to 18 weld points per minute and is controlled via a 5.7-inch display.

The unit automatically adjusts its parameters starting from a mains protection of 16 amperes. The EDC control system increases process reliability. A multifunction gun is available as an option, and the software documents welding data and repairs.

Compact welding power source

As a third new product, GYS is launching the Autopulse 320-T3 with 320 amps of welding power. The inverter unit features three wire feeders that also support push-pull and spool gun systems.

According to the company, 68 synergic programs are available for various materials. Four microprocessors ensure fast signal processing and a stable arc. The system automatically detects the active wire spool and enables the parallel operation of up to three welding torches.
